About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our team in Bloemfontein. As a key member of the HR department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all HR functions, including recruitment, training, and employee relations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organise training sessions
  • Administer leave and compile HR policies
  • Ensure up-to-date employee records
  • Facilitate HR-related queries
  • Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes
  • Coordinate induction and onboarding programmes
  • Plan and implement staff training as indicated by the Training Plan or as requested from time to time
  • Collate information for Workplace Skills Plans and Annual Training Reports
  • Monitor the Training Plan for regional implementation
  • Administer and record employee leave
  • Draft HR policies and contracts
  • Promote HR programs and internal training

Requirements

  • Broad knowledge of human resource functions
  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist
  • Understanding of HR policies and procedures
  • Good knowledge of labour laws
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office and Windows
  • Bilingual (English & Afrikaans)
  • Grade 12
  • Relevant HR/IR qualification

Salary & Benefits

Salary: R18000 to R24000 + annuity
