About the Role
We are seeking an HR Officer/Generalist in Bloemfontein to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of human resource functions, including hiring, onboarding, evaluation, and HR policies and procedures. This role involves a wide range of HR tasks, such as organising training, administering leave, and compiling HR policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Organising training for employees and supervisors/managers
- Administering and recording employee leave
- Compiling HR policies and contracts
- Promoting HR programs and internal training
- Assisting in talent acquisition and recruitment processes
- Co-ordinating induction and onboarding programmes
- Planning and implementing training of staff, as indicated by the Training Plan or requested from time to time
- Collating information for Workplace Skills Plans and Annual Training Reports
- Monitoring the Training Plan for regionally and ensuring that all training is implemented
Requirements
- Broad knowledge of human resource functions
- Relevant HR/IR qualification
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist
- Understanding of HR policies and procedures
- Good knowledge of labour laws
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office and Windows
Qualifications
- Grade 12
- Bilingual (English & Afrikaans)
Salary & Benefits
Salary: R18000 to R24000 + annuity
