About the Role
We are seeking an experienced HR Officer/Generalist in Bloemfontein to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of human resource functions, including hiring, onboarding, evaluation, and HR policies and procedures. As an HR Generalist, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, from organizing training to administering leave and compiling HR policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize training sessions
- Administer employee leave
- Compile HR policies and contracts
- Promote HR programs and internal training
- Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes
- Coordinate induction and onboarding programmes
- Plan and implement staff training as per the Training Plan or as requested
- Monitor the Training Plan for regional implementation
- Collate information for Workplace Skills Plans and Annual Training Reports
- Ensure all employee records are up-to-date
Requirements
- Broad knowledge of human resource functions
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist
- Understanding of HR policies and procedures
- Good knowledge of labour laws
- Bilingual (English & Afrikaans)
- Grade 12
- Relevant HR/IR qualification
Qualifications
- Formal education/certifications in HR/IR (if applicable)
Salary & Benefits
Salary: R18000 to R24000 + annuity
