About the Role

We are seeking an HR Officer/Generalist in Bloemfontein to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of human resource functions, including hiring, onboarding, evaluation, and HR policies and procedures. This role involves a wide range of HR tasks, such as organising training, administering leave, and compiling HR policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organising training for employees and supervisors/managers
  • Administering and recording employee leave
  • Compiling HR policies and contracts
  • Promoting HR programs and internal training
  • Assisting in talent acquisition and recruitment processes
  • Co-ordinating induction and onboarding programmes
  • Planning and implementing training of staff, as indicated by the Training Plan or requested from time to time
  • Collating information for Workplace Skills Plans and Annual Training Reports
  • Monitoring the Training Plan for regionally and ensuring that all training is implemented

Requirements

  • Broad knowledge of human resource functions
  • Relevant HR/IR qualification
  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist
  • Understanding of HR policies and procedures
  • Good knowledge of labour laws
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office and Windows

Qualifications

  • Grade 12
  • Bilingual (English & Afrikaans)

Salary & Benefits

Salary: R18000 to R24000 + annuity
