Requirements
- Minimum 3 – 5 years’ internal sales / internal customer service experience
- Proficient in MS Office
- Knowledge of Syspro is advantageous
- Lubricants experience is advantageous
- Strong phone presence and experience in cold calling (POPI compliance)
- Experience working with Salesforce or similar CRM is advantageous
Duties
- Meet monthly targets set
- Capture incoming orders
- Contact customers for orders
- Assist in completing sales projects
- Support DSR’s to meet targets
- Use customer purchase data to identify product opportunities and purchase patterns
- Convert COD customers to long term by upselling
- Ensure that we conduct customer reviews and follow up
- Generate quotations
- Cold calling; making multiple outbound calls to potential client
- Closing sales and working with client through closing process
- Building pipelines with channel partners and team members to close sales
- Qualifying leads from digital campaigns, conferences, references, tradeshows, etc.
- Conduct customer needs analysis
- Conduct post sale report
- Telephoning

- Compilation of Master Database
- Filing and storing of invoices weekly
- Generate quotations
- Completing tender documents
- Daily reports suck as back orders, dispatched not invoiced, etc.
- Customer collections
- Resolve customer complaints and follow up on NCR’s
- Researching potential leads from business directories, web searches, or digital resources
- Creating and maintaining a list/database of prospect clients
- Maintaining database (Salesforce, CRM, Excel, etc.) of prospective client information
- Tracking Reports
- Customer Back orders
- Tracking weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance and sales metrics
- To indicate to customer/rep if order is processed in full and/or if any back orders outstanding (this should include the Back order report with ETA of stock arrival (Import) or Product ETA Manufactured Product lines)
