Job Summary

Responsibilities include keeping financial records updated, preparing reports and reconciliation bank statements. Required outputs: Functional – Processing/loading all bank related information/payments – Cash book capturing and reconciliation – Prepare daily/weekly/monthly cashflow – Prepare and capture petty cash and expense claims – Process journal entries (AR/AP/GL) – Monthly filing – Attend to queries and ADHOC duties from time to time – Reconcile intercompany accounts – Assist with GL recon preparation – Assist with the closing processes at month-end and year-end – Support debtors, creditors departments and site admins where required – Attend to auditors requests at yearend Competencies (skills, knowledge and characteristics): – Ability to work and think, both independently and in a team environment – Attention to detail and accuracy – Good communication skills – Good numerical skills analytical and practical – Good time management skills, methodical with attention to detail – Be computer literate MS Office package especially Excel, Pastel Evolution – Deadline orientated willingness to work overtime if required Qualifications & Expertise ( required): – Diploma – Finance related degree advantageous – 1 – 2 years finance experience – Knowledge and experience of reconciliations in particular bank accounts Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted
