Job Description
Dealer Support & Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the OEM and assigned dealer network
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with dealer principals, general managers, and departmental heads
- Address dealer concerns, challenges, and escalations, coordinating internally with OEM departments to drive resolution
- Act as the voice of the dealer network, providing feedback to OEM management
Performance Management & Reporting
- Monitor and evaluate dealer KPIs including parts sales performance, service throughput, CSI, warranty results, training compliance, and operational standards
- Analyse dealer performance data and identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities
- Prepare performance reports and deliver clear, actionable recommendations to dealers and OEM management
- Conduct regular dealer performance reviews and joint business planning sessions
Operational Excellence & Compliance
- Ensure dealer compliance with OEM policies, operating standards, and brand guidelines
- Support the rollout and implementation of OEM programs, initiatives, campaigns, and system updates
- Conduct dealership audits, operational assessments, and regular site visits
- Identify non-compliance risks and support corrective action plans
Aftersales, Technical & Customer Experience Support
- Support dealer service and parts operations to achieve targets and operational efficiency
- Provide guidance on warranty processes, technical escalations, and service best practices
- Assist dealers with resolving escalated customer complaints and complex technical cases
- Promote continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer experience and CSI performance
Training & Continuous Improvement
- Monitor dealer training compliance and skills development across service, parts, and sales teams
- Support the implementation of technical, process, and product training initiatives
- Identify training gaps and recommend development actions in collaboration with OEM training teams
Skills, Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in automotive OEM, dealership operations, field support, or technical management roles
- Strong end-to-end understanding of dealership sales, service, parts, and warranty operations
- Proven experience managing dealer performance metrics and OEM programs
- Excellent relationship management, communication, and negotiation skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and drive action
- High level of professionalism with the ability to influence without authority
- Willingness and flexibility to travel frequently within the assigned territory
- Proficient in CRM systems, DMS platforms, and OEM reporting tools
- Motor Industry experience ESSENTIAL!!
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Dealer performance improvement against agreed KPIs
- Compliance with OEM standards, audits, and policies
- Improvement in CSI and customer experience metrics
- Effectiveness of dealer support and issue resolution
- Successful implementation of OEM programs and initiatives
