Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Strategic Sales Leadership Develop and implement national sales strategies aligned with OEM business goals Set clear objectives, targets, and KPIs for regional sales managers and dealer networks Drive sales growth, market penetration, and brand presence across all regions Monitor competitor activity and market trends to inform sales strategy Dealer Network Management Lead, mentor, and support regional sales managers in achieving targets Monitor and evaluate dealer performance, profitability, and compliance with OEM standards Conduct regular dealer business reviews, training, and development sessions Implement dealer incentive programs, pricing strategies, and sales campaigns Sales Planning & Forecasting Prepare national sales forecasts, budgets, and projections Manage pricing strategies, promotional campaigns, and incentive structures Align sales plans with Marketing, Aftersales, and Supply Chain departments Track and report on sales performance, analysing variances and implementing corrective actions Performance & Profitability Drive dealer profitability through effective management of sales volume, pricing, and cost control Ensure consistent achievement of sales targets and KPI metrics Promote strong customer satisfaction and service quality through dealer network initiatives Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimise sales processes and outcomes Cross-Functional Coordination Collaborate with Marketing to support campaigns, launches, and brand initiatives Work closely with Aftersales to align sales activities with service and warranty programs Partner with Supply Chain to ensure availability and allocation of vehicles to meet demand Report regularly to OEM management on national sales performance, trends, and risks Qualifications & Experience: Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA advantageous) Minimum 10 years of experience in automotive sales, with at least 5 years in an OEM or head-office automotive environment Proven track record in managing national sales teams and dealer networks Strong leadership, negotiation, and analytical skills Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities Motor Industry experience ESSENTIAL Key Skills & Competencies: Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen Leadership and team development capabilities Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to influence and drive performance across multiple stakeholders Results-oriented with high accountability and ownership Knowledge of automotive OEM processes, dealer networks, and market dynamics Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Achievement of national sales volume vs target Dealer sales growth and profitability improvement Market share growth and brand penetration Accuracy of sales forecasts and reporting Dealer CSI / customer satisfaction scores Compliance with OEM standards and operational policies Please note only candidates with the required experience will be contacted and considered.
