Job Summary
Scope & General Purpose:
- Issue and manage rates and specials as required.
- Assist with the set-up and contracting of yearly rates.
- Ensure sales-related equipment and materials are adequate and up-to-date.
- Respond to customer queries and provide necessary assistance.
- Store, sort, and present data in electronic form; manage database efficiently.
- Assist with organizing educational trips, trade shows, and sales trips.
- Upload information and reports onto the sales CRM system.
- Organize pre-sales trips and manage the diary for the Head of Sales, Marketing, and Reservations.
- Follow up on post-sales trips and trade shows with detailed reports.
- Interact with tour operators to meet information requirements.
- Provide weekly and monthly reports on sales activities.
- Coordinate reservations for approved site inspections.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales coordination and rate contracting within the hospitality industry.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Strong command of English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Well-organized, responsible, and adept at problem-solving.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
- Team player with a high level of dedication.
- Qualifications in Business Administration, Sales, or Marketing; certification in relevant fields is advantageous.
- Experience with reservations systems is a plus.
