Are you a skilled Drill Rig Operator ready to take your career underground?
Our client, a leading Chrome mining operation in Burgersfort, is looking for a highperforming, safetyfocused Drill Rig Operator to join their production team.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Operate underground drill rigs safely and efficiently
• Drill blast holes to exact depth, angle, and layout specifications
• Conduct prestart inspections and report mechanical issues
• Support the full underground mining cycle and meet production targets
• Maintain accurate drilling logs and safety documentation
• Work closely with miners, blasters, and shift supervisors

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• Drill Rig Operator Certificate of Competency (essential)
• 2+ years’ underground experience operating drill rigs in hardrock mining
• Chrome/platinum/narrow reef experience is an advantage
• Grade 12 (preferred)
• Valid Red Ticket and Medical Fitness to work underground
• Strong safety mindset and ability to work in confined spaces.
