Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Administration & Documentation

  • Draft and format correspondence, reports, and other formal documents.
  • Maintain accurate filing systems and records across all active matters.
  • Prepare and organise documentation and materials for creditors’ meetings.

2. Meeting & Diary Management

  • Schedule and coordinate internal and external meetings, including sending invitations and preparing agendas.
  • Manage calendars and ensure all appointments are well-coordinated.
  • Arrange travel and accommodation when needed.

3. Communication & Client Liaison

  • Act as a professional point of contact between the firm and clients, creditors, and stakeholders.
  • Action and follow up on instructions from Liquidators.
  • Keep all relevant parties informed with timely updates on case progress.

Requirements

  • Grade 12 certificate (Matric) – essential
  • 3–5 years’ experience in an administrative, secretarial, or personal assistant role
  • Prior experience in legal, accounting, insolvency, or professional services environment – advantageous
  • Demonstrated ability to support senior professionals with scheduling, correspondence, and client communication
  • Proven experience handling confidential and sensitive documentation
  • Valid South African driving licence (manual preferred)
  • 1–3 years of administrative experience

Key Skills

  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail
