Job Description
Key Responsibilities
1. Administration & Documentation
- Draft and format correspondence, reports, and other formal documents.
- Maintain accurate filing systems and records across all active matters.
- Prepare and organise documentation and materials for creditors’ meetings.
2. Meeting & Diary Management
- Schedule and coordinate internal and external meetings, including sending invitations and preparing agendas.
- Manage calendars and ensure all appointments are well-coordinated.
- Arrange travel and accommodation when needed.
3. Communication & Client Liaison
- Act as a professional point of contact between the firm and clients, creditors, and stakeholders.
- Action and follow up on instructions from Liquidators.
- Keep all relevant parties informed with timely updates on case progress.
Requirements
- Grade 12 certificate (Matric) – essential
- 3–5 years’ experience in an administrative, secretarial, or personal assistant role
- Prior experience in legal, accounting, insolvency, or professional services environment – advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to support senior professionals with scheduling, correspondence, and client communication
- Proven experience handling confidential and sensitive documentation
- Valid South African driving licence (manual preferred)
- 1–3 years of administrative experience

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail
