About the Role

The Internal Sales Representative will provide customer service and sales support for automotive products and components, driving sales growth and maintaining strong relationships with customers in the automotive database. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the sales process from initial inquiry to invoicing and order release, while also performing administrative duties related to stock and lost sales reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize proven experience in automotive sales to meet monthly sales targets.
  • Contact customers via email or phone to advise on promotions and market product lines.
  • Complete invoices accurately with sales codes and customer details to facilitate counter and account sales.
  • Provide updates on logistical, delivery, or supply issues that may impact customers.
  • Manage the backorder process by updating, releasing, and ensuring orders are placed.
  • Process customer claims and returns through appropriate channels while maintaining a maximum credit return rate.
  • Complete lost sales reports for products that could not be supplied or were uncompetitive.
  • Attend stock-takes, company functions, and trade evenings as required by the business.

Requirements

  • Matric certificate.
  • Proven experience in sales within a similar automotive role.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Commitment to providing outstanding customer service.

Salary & Benefits

R18, 000 ctc R22, 000 ctc including basic salary and 10% pension contribution.
