About the Role
Pro Tem is seeking a skilled Aircon Technician to manage, maintain, and repair air-conditioner units in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the maximal equipment life expectancy, reducing equipment failures, and minimizing overall operating costs.
Key Responsibilities
- Test and ensure that all air-conditioners are in good working order.
- Schedule and undertake proactive servicing of air-conditioners.
- Manage air-conditioner stock levels to ensure sufficient stock is in good working condition.
- Diagnose and repair faulty air-conditioners.
- Ensure speedy turnaround time on air-conditioner repairs.
- Manage the salvaging and storage of useable spares from air-conditioners to be scrapped.
- Assist maintenance team with general maintenance and refurbishment requirements.
