Job Summary
This role focuses on developing sales opportunities for renewable energy solutions, particularly in medium to large Commercial and Industrial (C&I) projects. The ideal candidate will collaborate with internal teams and customers to create optimized technical solutions for renewable energy projects, driving our mission to provide sustainable energy solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop sales opportunities for renewable energy solutions, focusing on medium to large C&I projects.
- Collaborate with internal teams and/or customers to develop optimized technical solutions for renewable energy projects.
- Conduct preliminary technical solution design, costing, and proposal write-ups.
- Assist in client contract negotiations.
- Grow sales with new and existing accounts in assigned areas to meet business targets.
- Develop competitive strategies to achieve sales objectives and maintain awareness of competitor activity.
- Provide input on the business plan to ensure sales sustainability.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers within the industry.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of technical sales experience in renewable energy or a related field.
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Technical understanding of solar PV, battery energy storage systems, diesel generators, and electrical reticulation.
- Ability to address technical questions and solutions with customers and partners.
- Strong coordination skills among multidisciplinary teams (both internally and externally).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and spoken.
- Ability to work effectively in a matrix organizational structure.
- Knowledge of project management is advantageous.
- Experience with large-scale solar installations is a plus.
