Job Summary

Be part of a founding actuarial team with influence over strategy, process, and culture Engage with high-profile clients across insurance, retirement funding , and healthcare schemes Broaden your experience through cross-disciplinary projects with audit and advisory experts Gain exposure to cutting-edge actuarial and risk practices , including IFRS 17, capital modelling, and reinsurance Make your mark in a growing, innovative environment that values entrepreneurial thinkers Key Responsibilities: Provide actuarial audit support across general insurance, life insurance, pension funds, and medical schemes Review technical provisions, IAS 19 liabilities, and IFRS 17 valuations Contribute to IFRS 17 transition work, modelling, and actuarial audits Conduct valuation and modelling assignments (reserving, capital, remediation, dashboards, etc.) Support actuarial function reviews and model enhancements Engage with clients to improve actuarial processes and risk frameworks Contribute to business development efforts, thought leadership, and the operational growth of the actuarial team What Youll Need: Qualifications: Nearly or fully qualified actuary Experience: Background in actuarial audit support, consulting, or technical review Experience in the insurance, pension fund, or medical scheme environments Knowledge of IFRS 17, capital and solvency frameworks (e.g. SAM), reserving, and ORSA is a strong advantage Technical Skills: Proficiency in actuarial tools and analytics platforms (e.g. Prophet, Python, SQL, SAS, Power BI, MATLAB) Ability to draft high-quality actuarial reports and client documentation Strong understanding of relevant audit standards (e.g. IFRS 13, IAS 19, ISA 540) Soft Skills: Clear, professional communicator with client-facing confidence Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset Strong organisational and multitasking skills Comfortable working in fast-paced, dynamic environments Curious, adaptable, and eager to explore new challenges Ready to Build Something Meaningful?
