The use of excel is critical in the development and maintenance of the role and must be able to learn and upskill themselves to achieve efficiency of daily tasks. Maintaining proper accounting records for various entities across the Group 2. Filing / maintenance of supplier invoices, bank statements, etc. 3. Processing Vat transactions 4. Maintaining the fixed asset register, calculation of depreciation 5. Capturing of bank statements and bank reconciliations 6. SARS submissions 7. Other Ad hoc tasks/requests 8. Monthly/Quarterly management accounts will be required based on the portfolio given

Requirements: Minimum 35 years bookkeeping experience. Proficiency in QuickBooks (preferred) and payroll systems (Sage advantageous). Strong Excel and computer skills. Meticulous attention to detail and organizational ability. Based in Cape Town (on-site role).
