Van Schaik Bookstore requires a strategic thinker, equipped with the essential skills for high-level negotiations, to contribute to promoting the services of the company. The incumbent, who should at all times keep abreast of the latest technology, will be responsible for: Expand and manage branch operations with a strong focus on effective stock control and inventory management. Ensure full compliance with company and supplier return policies Drive and optimize in store sales Canvass schools and TVET colleges to identify and secure new business opportunities. Build and maintain strong relationships with lecturers, customers, publishers, and suppliers Ordering and receiving of stationery Processing of new and inter-branch stock Ensure excellent customer service at all levels in line with company standards. Manage administrative processes, including customer orders, quotations, pro-formas, and enquiries Personnel management and development Excellent customer service Financial management Ensure effective product presentation and stock displays to enhance sales Develop and implement operational procedures to improve efficiency and profitability
