Job Summary

A client in the agriculture community is looking for a Creditors Controller to join their head office in Cape Town Northern Suburbs The successful candidate will be responsible for the full accounts payables function, at our administrative Head Office. Key responsibilities: Reporting directly to the Executive Director. The successful candidate is required to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and work both independently and within a dynamic team environment. Attention to detail and accuracy, as well as working well under pressure and meeting deadlines are a must. Creditors control: Oversee accounts payable cycle Invoice processing and verification Reconciliation of accounts Processing of weekly and monthly payments Completion of credit applications Supplier relationship management Month-end and year-end processing Compliance with company standards and policies Any other tasks as required by management

Minimum

Requirements:

5 Years extensive accounts payable control experience Minimum Grade 12 school certificate Financial qualification will be advantageous Valid drivers license and own transport in necessary

Job Summary

Our client in Cape town is looking for a Credit Controller. Duties & Responsibilities Reporting to the Finance Manager. Contact customers to follow up on outstanding invoices and resolve account-related queries. Provide assistance to customers with inquiries regarding deliveries or product issues. Reconcile debtor accounts, including processing payments, claims, rebates, and discounts. Process and action financial journals as required on debtor accounts. Match credit notes to corresponding invoices and allocate them accurately in the debtor ledger. Monitor and address orders placed on HOLD to ensure swift resolution. Managing new customer applications for accounts, accessing the credit report database and assessing new accounts for credit worthiness. Loading new customers onto Syspro, and Management of the full database of customers on an ongoing basis. Liaison with both internal and external sales representatives to manage ongoing credit limit requirements. Ongoing ad-hoc credit control functions as and when required Experience & Qualification Completed Matric Experience as a Credit Controller Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Excel. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
