Job Description

The Digital Marketing Coordinator will play a key role in planning, implementing, and optimizing the company’s digital marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness, generate leads, and drive engagement. This individual will manage multiple digital marketing channels, including social media, email marketing, paid advertising, website content, and SEO strategies. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent analytical skills, creativity, and a deep understanding of digital marketing trends and best practices. The Digital Marketing Coordinator will work closely with the marketing team to ensure that all digital efforts align with the retail shopping centre’s brand strategy. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS, COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Digital Marketing Coordinator in a retail environment Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred Strategic thinker, capable of developing an overall marketing plan and overseeing the execution of that plan Professional reputation; strong industry credibility Proven effective management experience Excellent self-starter with strong and independent work ethic; project oriented, results-driven, problem solver. Well-organized; excellent attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Office Excellent written and verbal skills KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS Digital Marketing Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns tailored to retail property management and asset management, focusing on tenant engagement and lead generation. Optimize digital campaigns to drive interest in available retail spaces and strengthen brand positioning. Manage and monitor paid advertising campaigns on platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and LinkedIn Ads, with a focus on commercial property promotion. Ensure all digital content aligns with the retail shopping centre’s brand strategy. Website Management & SEO: Oversee website content updates to ensure accurate and compelling listings of available retail spaces and property developments. Implement SEO best practices to improve organic search rankings for commercial properties and attract potential tenants. Analyse website performance using Google Analytics and other tracking tools to measure tenant interest and user engagement. Content Creation & Digital Engagement: Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to develop high-quality digital content, including blog articles, videos, infographics, and case studies highlighting retail property success stories. Manage and oversee email marketing campaigns targeted at potential tenants, investors, and key stakeholders. Develop engaging and conversion-driven landing pages for property promotions and marketing campaigns. Influencer & Partner Collaborations: Manage, identify, and collaborate with influencers, content creators, and industry partners to expand reach and engagement. Google Business Profile (GBP) Management: Maintain and optimize the Google Business Profiles for all shopping centres and Head Office, ensuring accurate information, updated images, and regular posts. Claim, verify & takeover of shopping centres Google pages. Respond to customer reviews and inquiries to enhance online reputation and engagement. Use Google Business Insights to track performance metrics like search views, direction requests, and website clicks. Crisis Management & Reputation Monitoring: Monitor and manage the company’s online reputation, responding to customer feedback and reviews effectively. Develop a crisis communication plan for handling negative publicity or social media issues. Innovation & Emerging Technologies: Explore AI-driven marketing solutions, such as chatbots and predictive analytics, to improve digital marketing efficiency. Stay ahead of emerging trends in digital marketing, such as the metaverse, AR/VR shopping experiences. Data Analysis & Performance Reporting: Track, measure, and report on digital marketing performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, and social media insights. Provide actionable recommendations to optimize marketing campaigns based on data-driven insights and industry trends. Maintain a content and campaign calendar to manage digital marketing initiatives effectively and align them with leasing cycles. Trend Monitoring & Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest trends and innovations in digital marketing, particularly within the retail and commercial property sectors. Research and test new digital marketing tools, strategies, and platforms to enhance marketing performance and drive property inquiries. Continuously refine digital marketing strategies to align with evolving industry trends and business needs, ensuring a competitive advantage in property marketing.
