About the Role
As an External Sales Representative in Cape Town City Centre, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and achieving allocated targets every quarter. You will utilize your market knowledge and client understanding to inform your sales strategy, identify new opportunities, and build strong relationships with existing clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan approach to achieving allocated targets every quarter using market dynamics and client insight
- Identify opportunities to sell on to existing clients and involve internal people to secure deals that achieve targeted returns
- Open new accounts online for as many customers as possible
- Entertain clients in an informal context, utilizing company culture insights to engage positively
- Submit proposals within agreed time frames, presenting a professional image of the company
- Comply with order processing guidelines while negotiating time frames and pricing with clients
- Follow up on deliveries and collections, liaising with relevant people to ensure customer requirements are met
- Check that accounts are up to date, highlighting outstanding amounts as necessary
- Monitor orders for accuracy and allocation to correct accounts
- Pass credits when required, ensuring accurate information reflected and proper authorization
- Maintain accurate information in the CRM system
Requirements
Relevant Sales qualification
3 – 5 years experience in Sales (Consumables, Engineering, Mining, Agricultural fields)
Knowledge on supplier electric motors
Valid drivers license
Matric
