Cape Town City Centre: Feature Analyst

Key Responsibilities: Act as a key intermediary between product owners, development teams, and stakeholders to translate business objectives into clear and testable requirements Facilitate discovery workshops, stakeholder interviews, and backlog refinement sessions. Develop detailed functional and non-functional specifications, process flows, business rules, and user journeys Assist in prioritising features for delivery, using a value-driven and iterative mindset. Support the end-to-end delivery lifecycle including testing, change management, and post-implementation validation Minimum Requirements: 5 years’ proven experience in a Feature Analysis, Business Analysis, or Functional Consulting role within Agile teams Proficiency in Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, SAFe), including backlog management, user story creation, and sprint planning Strong business process mapping and documentation skills (e.g., BPMN, user story mapping, use cases) Ability to work collaboratively in diverse capability teams and across stakeholder levels Exposure to digital platforms or enterprise-scale system enhancements (advantageous) Certifications: Industry-recognized business analysis and Agile qualifications such as CBAP / CCBA (IIBA), Business Analysis Diploma or certification (FTI or similar) and Agile Certifications (SAFe Agilist, etc.) Industry: Financial services (insurance, banking, etc.) Tools: Jira, Confluence, Visio, or other collaboration platforms Ideal Candidate Profile: Strategic thinker with tactical execution skills Demonstrated success in helping delivery teams unlock measurable business value Highly detail-oriented, yet able to see the bigger picture Collaborative by nature, with a strong sense of accountability Adaptable, curious, and resilient in the face of change
