Cape Town City Centre: General maintenance / Handyman

One of our clients based in Kuilsriver manufacturing company is looking for a Handyman, responsible for performing a wide range of repair, maintenance and general upkeep tasks to ensure the buildings, facilities and equipment are kept in good working order. This includes both preventative and reactive maintenance work. REQUIREMENTS • At least 2-5 years general maintenance or handyman experience • Ability to cope with pressure / fast paced environment • Able to work independently • Safety and environmentally aware • Knowledge of basic plumbing, carpentry and electrical repairs KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS • Responsible for General Maintenance and upkeep of site • Possess good painting skills • Carpentry skills in order to perform general repairs • Minor repairs of Mechanical equipment as requested • General handyman tasks as allocated by Maintenance Foreman • Ensure compliance with ISO standards. • Ensure that safe working procedures are strictly followed. • Maintain good housekeeping standards at all times
