Job Summary
We are seeking an Intermediate Site-Based Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team working on large-scale Commercial Building Projects throughout the Cape Town area. Minimum Requirements : Qualifications : B.Tech or B.Sc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent diploma. Experience : At least 810 years of experience working with reputable Building Contractors. Proven track record in managing Residential and Commercial Building Projects . Technical Skills : Proficiency in CCS (Candy Construction Software) is essential. Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost estimation, and project management. Ability to work effectively on-site and liaise with project stakeholders. Key Responsibilities : Perform accurate cost planning, budgeting, and cost control throughout project lifecycles. Manage and prepare payment certificates, valuations, and final accounts. Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor agreements and variations. Monitor project progress, ensuring cost efficiency and adherence to budgets. Collaborate closely with the project team, including contractors and consultants.
