About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Internal Sales Administrator to join our team in Cape Town City Centre. As a key support role, you will be responsible for managing customer accounts, coordinating sales administration, and ensuring the smooth processing of orders from quotation through to delivery. You will play a critical role in supporting the sales function and contributing to our business’s commitment to sustainability and innovation in packaging solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, process, and manage customer quotations, sales orders, and invoices accurately and timeously
  • Maintain and update the CRM system with customer details, sales activity, leads, and pipeline information
  • Liaise with customers and suppliers to provide product information, pricing, and order status updates
  • Handle customer queries professionally and escalate complaints where necessary to ensure swift resolution
  • Identify and manage new business opportunities and enquiries
  • Coordinate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfilment
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with forecasting and replenishment planning

Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric) essential
  • Minimum of 23 years experience in a sales administration, internal sales, or customer service role
  • Experience in manufacturing, packaging, or FMCG environments preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Experience using ERP or CRM systems (e.g. Sage, SAP, Xero, Salesforce)
