About the Role
A rapidly expanding FinTech company is seeking a Junior Accountant to support our Finance Manager and wider finance team across various legal entities. We require an individual with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in MS Office and Xero accounting software (QuickBooks experience also advantageous).
Key Responsibilities
- Monthly and weekly management account reporting
- Production of monthly bordereaux to insurers
- Accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Preparing weekly and monthly bank reconciliations
- Reviewing and approving invoices
- Processing and paying supplier invoices
- Daily bookkeeping tasks
- Assist with implementing and maintaining financial controls and processes
- Preparation of annual budgets
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- 3 – 5 years of relevant working experience
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Experience working with Xero accounting software (QuickBooks experience also advantageous)
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
