As a result of the need for this individual to work standby as well as late shifts and weekends, it is a preference that the successful incumbent lives in Malmesbury or within a 10-15km radius. Driver’s license and own, reliable vehicle is a pre-requisite. Minimum education requirements: N3 Level plus trade test (electrical) N3 Level plus trade test (Fitter, Fitter and Turner) Introduction training as per company standards Minimum experience required: Full competence within this role would typically be developed over a period of 2 years in a UHT manufacturing Plant CRITICAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS UHT experience a pre-requisite of employment Engineering and Technology Engineering Science Electrical Computers and electronics Principles involved in production, quality control, and other techniques to maximize the effective manufacture of food and beverage products Mathematics Production and processing Technical regulations, Health and Safety Practices, Basic Risk management, OHS act, HACCP, ISO, GMP Exceptional knowledge of the relevant engineering/technical processes in own environment, Understanding of equipment and machines used in the operation Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/ electrical diagrams Evaluate, install and operate electrical components or equipment Investigative, Analytical and the ability to use problem solving tools Excellent troubleshooter Equipment maintenance and analysis Ability to identify reasons for and implications of engineering/technical problems Ability to solve engineering/technical problems Ability to improve utilisation and output of equipment etc Kindly note that by submitting your application for this career opportunity, you agree that Guardian Recruiting may use your application for the purpose of the recruitment and selection of the said position and this information may be shared with the relevant stakeholders in the business.
