Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical faults on manufacturing equipment. Perform routine and preventative maintenance to ensure peak machine performance. Install, assemble, align, and calibrate machinery and components. Troubleshoot breakdowns quickly to reduce production delays. Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals. Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records. Adhere to health, safety, and company policies. Support process improvements and assist in training junior technicians. Skills & Requirements: Proficiency in technical drawings, schematics, and manual interpretation. Knowledge of PLC control systems. Skilled in hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments. Strong problem-solving, time management, and decision-making skills. Knowledge of health and safety regulations.

Job Description

Area : Cape Town Milnerton Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable Millwright to join our clients team in the water treatment industry. The primary responsibility of the Millewright will be to service existing clients and actively pursue new business opportunities. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background in water treatment processes, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in customer service and sales. This role requires a proactive and results-oriented individual who can build strong relationships with clients, provide exceptional technical support, and contribute to the growth of business. Responsibilities: Service Existing Clients: Regularly communicate with existing clients to ensure their satisfaction with the products and services. Conduct site visits to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing timely and effective solutions. Provide technical support and guidance to clients regarding equipment operation, maintenance, and optimization. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure efficient delivery of services, including installation, repairs, and maintenance. Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the water treatment industry. Conduct market research to identify potential clients and understand industry trends and customer needs. Build and maintain a network of contacts within the industry to generate leads and referrals. Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients, highlighting the value of their products and services. Negotiate and close sales agreements, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term relationships. Technical Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of their products, processes, and technologies related to water treatment. Stay up to date with industry advancements, regulations, and best practices, and share relevant knowledge with clients and internal teams. Provide technical training to clients and internal staff on equipment operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Collaborate with the R&D team to provide feedback on product performance, identify improvement opportunities, and contribute to the development of new solutions Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, acting as their trusted advisor. Address client concerns and inquiries in a prompt and professional manner, ensuring their satisfaction. Collaborate with the customer support team to resolve any issues or escalations effectively. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure a seamless customer experience. Qualifications: Proven experience in servicing clients and driving new business in the water treatment industry. Strong technical knowledge of water treatment processes, equipment, and regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients. Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically. Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Results-oriented mindset, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Willingness to travel to client sites as required. Must Have: Valid driver licence own vehicle Must be able to work with a laptop and excel experience will be a big benefit. Growth vision is very important and should be self-driven and be able to take ownership of his duties.
