Role will be a contract at first
Requirements:
- National Diploma/Certificate in Electrical Engineering/Mechatronics
- 3 years post qualification experience in the automotive industry
- E-PLAN P8 experience is an advantage
- Knowledge of Siemens PLC’s and control circuits
- Drivers License
Possible duties:
- Design and implement electrical systems and layouts for industrial and automation environments
- Create and update detailed electrical schematics and documentation using EPLAN P8
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize control systems, including Siemens PLCs and related industrial circuits
- Conduct inspections and functional testing to ensure electrical systems meet safety and performance standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production operations and project execution
- Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and integration of electrical systems
- Ensure compliance with relevant electrical engineering standards, regulations, and company policies
