🚀 Production Manager Leading Manufacturing Company A leading manufacturing company is seeking an experienced and dynamic Production Manager to oversee production operations and ensure the successful achievement of daily output and quality targets. The ideal candidate will be responsible for strategic planning, operational oversight, and continuous improvement of all production processes to ensure high-quality products are delivered on time, safely, and within budget . Key Responsibilities Plan, manage, and control all production activities to meet operational objectives Drive machine performance, efficiency, and product quality Lead, motivate, and develop production teams for optimal performance Champion continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices Oversee production reporting, data analysis, and process optimization Ensure strict compliance with Health, Safety, and Housekeeping standards Collaborate with maintenance and technical teams to minimize downtime Minimum Requirements National Diploma in Production or Operations Management 1015 years experience in production management Minimum 5 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles Proficient in Microsoft Office packages Experience with Syspro (advantageous) Previous appointment as a 16.2 Legal Appointee will be an added advantage Skills & Attributes Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities Excellent leadership and communication skills Effective time management and organisational capabilities Deep understanding of maintenance planning and safety standards Familiarity with the South African labour framework A driven, ethical, and results-oriented professional with a passion for excellence
