About the Role

A well-established and reputable law firm is seeking an experienced Conveyancer with strong expertise in property developments to join their team, handling large-scale residential and commercial development projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing all conveyancing transactions relating to property developments, including sectional title and township registrations
  • Overseeing bulk transfers from instruction to registration
  • Liaising with developers, financial institutions, municipalities, and regulatory authorities
  • Drafting and reviewing development-related agreements and transfer documentation
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and conveyancing regulations
  • Monitoring progress at deeds offices and ensuring timely lodgement and registration
  • Providing support and guidance to junior staff within the developments department

Requirements

  • Admitted Conveyancer with a valid practicing certificate
  • 35 years experience within a developments department
  • Proven expertise in sectional title schemes, township establishment, and bulk transfers
  • Strong knowledge of deeds office procedures and property law
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to handle high volumes and work under pressure
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
