About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Property Insurance Business Development Manager to join our team in Cape Town City Centre. As a key member of our sales and business development team, you will be responsible for driving growth and expansion within our property insurance portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement business development strategies to drive revenue growth
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing clients and identify new opportunities
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activity to inform product development and marketing initiatives
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of sales and underwriting processes
  • Manage and report on sales pipelines, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years experience in sales or business development within the insurance industry
  • Experience within the real estate industry
  • Strong knowledge of insurance products and services
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Fluency in Afrikaans and English

Qualifications

  • Matric (Grade 12) essential
  • RE5 advantageous
  • FAIS qualification (e.g. NQF5 Wealth Management) advantageous
  • Relevant tertiary qualification advantageous
