Requirements: BSc or BEng in Electrical Engineering. Minimum of 24 years’ experience in solar PV system design. Proficient in AutoCAD , Revit , and other relevant design tools. Solid understanding of photovoltaic technology , electrical systems , and grid-tied solutions. Familiar with South African electrical standards (e.g., SANS, NRS). Design and develop complete solar PV systems for commercial and industrial applications. Produce electrical schematics and layout drawings using AutoCAD and Revit. Perform system simulations and energy yield calculations. Support project execution teams with accurate designs and technical documentation. Ensure compliance with local grid codes , electrical standards , and regulatory requirements. Prepare technical reports , bill of materials , and other project documentation.
