Job Summary

Key Responsibilities Follow technical sketches, patterns, and specifications to construct sample garments. Operate sewing machines and specialized equipment to produce samples. Collaborate with designers and pattern makers to understand design and construction details. Provide feedback on construction feasibility and suggest improvements. Ensure samples meet quality standards and represent the design concept. Assist in fittings and make necessary alterations. Maintain a clean, organized work area. Record samples produced and materials used. Stay updated on sewing techniques and industry technologies. Qualifications / Experience Matric or equivalent; vocational training in fashion design or garment construction preferred. 2-3 years of garment construction experience. Proficient in operating industrial sewing machines and equipment. Strong understanding of garment construction techniques and fabric properties. Skills and Attributes Experience with woven and knit fabrics. Excellent attention to detail and quality. Ability to construct zips, buttons and buttonholes and fastners etc. Mens and Ladies wear sample construction experience Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted
