About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Manager to join our team in Cape Town City Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the preparation and review of financial statements in line with IFRS, managing tax planning, compliance, and submissions for multiple entities, overseeing audits, and providing strategic financial advice and support to clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and review of financial statements in line with IFRS
- Manage tax planning, compliance, and submissions for multiple entities
- Oversee audits and liaise with external auditors
- Provide strategic financial advice and support to clients
- Mentor and guide junior accountants and trainees
Requirements
- Advanced knowledge of IFRS, tax legislation, and compliance
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- High-level proficiency in accounting software (Sage, Xero, Pastel)
- Minimum 6 years post-articles experience in a senior or supervisory role
Qualifications
- Completed SAIPA Articles
- Registered Professional Accountant (SA)
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance (Honours advantageous)
