About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to drive the successful delivery of complex Supply Chain and Logistics initiatives in Cape Town City Centre. This role will lead Distribution Centre and Warehouse transformation projects, ensuring strong governance, stakeholder alignment, and measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of Supply Chain, Distribution Centre, and Warehouse projects
- Manage project plans, budgets, resources, risks, and reporting in line with PMO standards
- Oversee vendors, system integrators, and cross-functional delivery teams
- Present executive-level dashboards and status updates
- Drive alignment between business, operations, and IT
- Support change management, go-lives, and national hypercare activities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or related field
- PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner (or equivalent) required
- 8 years Project Management experience
- 3 years managing programmes or multiple interdependent projects
- Proven experience delivering Distribution Centre and Warehouse transformation projects (essential)
- Experience within Supply Chain, Logistics, or Distribution environments
- Retail and/or pharmaceutical sector experience advantageous
Qualifications
- Formal education/certifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or related field
