About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior RF Engineer to join our team in Cape Town City Centre. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing RF circuits, subsystems, and antennas, while contributing to the definition and oversight of product architectures for radar, radio, and signal intelligence systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test RF circuits, subsystems, and antennas
- Contribute to the definition and oversight of product architectures for radar, radio, and signal intelligence systems
- Develop expertise in RF electronic design, including RF circuits and subsystem design
- Perform antenna design, including patch antennas
- Conduct measurement techniques and wireless communication
- Develop knowledge of beam forming, radar systems, radios, and detect and avoid radar
- Design and develop power amplifiers, mixers, low noise amplifiers, diplexers
- Implement high-speed digital-to-analog and analog-to-digital converters
- Ensure regulatory compliance requirements
Requirements
- BEng Degree in Electronic Engineering (Not a BTech or BEngTech)
- MEng degree will be beneficial
- 10 Years post grad working experience in RF
- Proficiency in MATLAB, Ansys, HFSS and Altium
