Job Summary

The successful candidate will play a key role working with a small and innovative group and specialize in creating tailor-made safaris to East and Southern Africa. Our specialist knowledge and our small size allow us to offer a top-notch, personalized service to our clients. In addition to this, it would be advantageous (but not a necessity) to have “on-the-ground” experience living, working, and traveling throughout broader Africa. The candidates main responsibilities will be to focus on organizing and selling mid to high-end safaris, and therefore a willingness, aptitude, and experience in sales is vital. This is a full-time position is split between working from home and our office in Cape Town. Though, for the right candidate remote work will be considered. Candidate requirements: Must have a relevant degree or diploma Have excellent English writing skills and verbal communication skills Have 3-5 years working in a similar position in the luxury travel sector Must be computer literate with working experience in various reservation systems Organizational skills The ideal candidate: Enjoys travel Enjoys working within a small team and is a great team player Has excellent people skills and is a very good communicator Ability to multitask and prioritize actions Has an interest in travel and creating amazing experiences for people Pays close attention to finer details Is hard working and efficient Is an independent self-starter Can work under pressure at times Package: The consultant will be remunerated depending on experience, and the salary package will consist of a relatively generous base salary plus commission or bonus (to be discussed, but paid in USD) from sales.
