About the Role
The Building Company is seeking an experienced Stock Controller to join our team in Cape Town City Centre. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating the incoming and outgoing of stock, maintaining optimum stock levels and range, and ensuring that our stores are always fully stocked and well-organized.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the incoming (receiving, GRNing and merchandising) of all stock for the business
- Maintain optimum stock levels and range for the business
- Check reports to ensure accurate inventory management
- Manage Supplier returns and investigate bad risk stock
- Keep Cycle Counter up to date and validate stock variances
- Run no stock, no demand report and Deletion reports
- Ensure Existing Stock are binned and Monitor stock performance
Requirements
- Grade 12 or Certificate in Retailing (NQF 5) or Certificate in Retail Operations Management (NQF 5)
- At least 3 years of stock control experience
- Proven ability to supervise implementation of loss control measures
- Experience supervising stock counts and replenishing stock in a retail business
