About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Technician/Locksmith to join our team in Cape Town City Centre. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for performing site installations, repairs, and servicing of locks and related equipment, while maintaining excellent relationships with clients and providing professional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Perform site installations, repairs, and servicing of locks and related equipment
Conduct site measurements, surveys, and inspections
Maintain good relationships with clients and provide professional customer service
Complete paperwork, including job cards, delivery notes, and service reports
Receive stock and assist with stock control
Assist with loading and offloading of products
Ensure all equipment and tools are kept clean and in good working condition
Report defects, accidents, or safety violations promptly
Operate tools and equipment as required for the job
Maintain the workshop in a clean, safe, and orderly manner

Requirements

Experience as a locksmith and/or technician (preferred)
Good technical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physically fit and willing to perform manual work
Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
Valid driver’s license
National senior certificate
