About the Role
A prestigious luxury hotel in Cape Town is seeking an experienced Concierge to deliver personalised, high-touch guest services within a fast-paced, high-volume luxury environment. This role is guest-facing and requires exceptional local knowledge, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple guest requests with professionalism and discretion.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personalised concierge services to all guests, including bookings, recommendations, and itineraries
- Handle guest requests efficiently and professionally, ensuring a seamless guest experience
- Build strong relationships with local service providers, tour operators, and restaurants
- Assist with VIP guest arrangements, special occasions, and bespoke experiences
- Manage guest feedback, concerns, and service recovery in line with luxury standards
- Maintain accurate records of guest requests and preferences
- Work closely with Front Office, Guest Relations, and Duty Management teams
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Concierge or Guest Services professional in a 4- or 5-star hotel
- Experience in a busy hotel environment (200 rooms or similar high-volume operation preferred)
- Excellent knowledge of Cape Town attractions, restaurants, tours, and services
- Strong guest engagement and service recovery skills
- Willing and able to work shifts, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays
Qualifications
- Relevant Hospitality qualification (advantageous)
