Please note this position is based in Saudi Arabia, Offshore. All Relocation costs and standard benefits will be provided.
The Crewing Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of crew management and logistics for offshore operations, ensuring vessels and offshore assets are adequately manned with competent and compliant personnel. The ideal candidate will bring over 10 years of experience in offshore crewing management, including extensive exposure to Middle East offshore operations, and will have a proven ability to manage multinational crews in compliance with international maritime standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee end-to-end crewing operations, including crew planning, selection, mobilization, rotation, and demobilization.

Manage and maintain accurate crew databases, ensuring all certifications, training, and medical requirements are up to date.

Coordinate with project managers, vessel masters, and HR teams to ensure optimal crew allocation for offshore projects.

Ensure compliance with local and international maritime regulations (MLC, STCW, IMO, and flag state requirements).

Build and maintain relationships with crew agencies, training providers, and maritime authorities.

Manage visa processing, travel logistics, and onboarding processes for offshore crew.

Implement and monitor crewing KPIs, ensuring cost efficiency, timely rotations, and crew retention.

Support recruitment drives for offshore personnel and ensure the selection of qualified and competent candidates.

Oversee crew welfare, grievance handling, and performance evaluation.

Prepare and present crewing reports, forecasts, and project readiness updates to management.

Ensure alignment with company policies, safety standards, and client requirements.
Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelors Degree in Maritime Studies, Human Resources, or related discipline.

Minimum of 10 years experience in crewing or offshore personnel management, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.

Proven experience working within Middle East offshore operations (e.g., Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar).

Strong understanding of offshore industry standards, vessel types, and rotational manpower logistics.

Familiarity with ERP/crewing software systems and crew management databases.

Excellent knowledge of international maritime labor conventions and safety regulations.

Preferred Experience:

Prior work with Offshore Marine, Oil & Gas, or EPC companies.

Experience managing crews for AHTS, PSV, DSV, and construction vessels.

Knowledge of Middle Eastern labor laws and visa procedures.

Experience collaborating with Aramco-approved or other major offshore clients in the region.
