We are looking for a Desktop Engineer II with a knack for solving complex IT issues, ensuring seamless operation of hardware, software, and network systems. Adept at providing top-tier technical support, implementing effective troubleshooting methods, and optimizing end-user experience across diverse environments. What youll do: General support of end-user computing for hardware, networking, printing, application, OS and boardroom equipment. Set up and preparation of hardware for distribution to users. Achieve expected SLA, quality requirements and KPIs to support client contract objectives. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to engage with all levels of an organisation from CEO down. Effective time and call management to support contractual objectives. Ensure effective resolution of calls within agreed timelines at expected service quality. Timeous escalation to ensure resolution within agreed timelines. Frequent and appropriate communication with users resolution progress of incidents and requests. Own the IT space and be the IT Manager for the client. Your expertise: 5-7 Years of IT Experience in Desktop and end-user Support Must be experienced in Microsoft environment, practical approach, IT generalist O365 Portal Support would be advantageous Qualifications required: A+, N+, Microsoft O365 platform or Azure Certification Office 365 Fundamentals Other information applicable to the opportunity: Permanent Position Location : Claremont, Cape Town Work environment : No specific or unique work conditions are required. Standard office environment. Physical Demands : Assist occasionally with moving or installing computer hardware Travel : There may be travel requirements for this role.
