Job Summary

Hire Resolve`s client is seeking a qualified and experienced Electrician to join their team in Cape Town. The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. The successful candidate must have a thorough understanding of electrical systems and be able to work independently or as part of a team.

• Designing and installing of solar PV systems (including electrical wiring, mounting of inverters and panels)
• Site visits and assessments on existing installations to either expand existing solar installations or to design solar systems.
• Be current with solar / generator equipment and assist clients with backup power solutions
• Be up to date with Sans 1014
• Must be a team leader, and ability to supervise multiple jobs / teams, ensuring a safe working environment.

• Qualified 3-phase electrician
• Based in and around Cape Town
• Wireman`s license
• Be current on the solar industry
• Experience with generators
• Able to plan, and work alone if required
• Able to work under pressure
• Able to prioritize
• Proven experience as an Electrician

Hire Resolves client in the Solar Energy Industry is seeking a skilled Electrician to join their team. The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, equipment, and wiring. The ideal candidate will have experience working with both residential and commercial properties, as well as a thorough understanding of electrical codes and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

– Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment
– Troubleshoot electrical issues and identify potential problems
– Ensure all work is completed in accordance with electrical codes and safety standards
– Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
– Collaborate with other trades professionals to complete projects on time and within budget
– Maintain a clean and organized work environment
– Provide excellent customer service and communication with clients

Requirements:

– High school diploma or equivalent
– Completion of an electrician apprenticeship program
– Valid electrician license
– Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as an electrician
– Familiarity with electrical codes and safety standards
– Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Physically fit and able to work in various environments and conditions
– Able to provide COCS

Job Summary

A leading food manufacturing company situated in Cape Town is urgently seeking the expertise of an experienced Electrician to join their team.

The successful incumbent for this position will be responsible for:

• Fit, inspect, repair and test fuse boxes, circuits & wiring systems and equipment.
• Carry out electrical maintenance, repairs on machinery and facilities.
• Adherence to safety codes, regulations, and safety requirements.
• Conduct certified electrical installations.

Job Summary

A leading food company situated in Cape Town is urgently seeking the expertise of an experienced Electrician to join their team.

The successful incumbent for this position will be responsible for:

• Repairs and preventative maintenance on fast moving production equipment.
• Fault Finding.
• Breakdowns.
• Point to point checks on control and power systems.
• Read and correctly interpret electrical diagrams.
• Assist the department manager with ad-hoc duties.

Key requirements:

• Trade Tested Electrician
• A minimum of 5 years supervisory experience with strong leadership skills and good work ethic, must be willing to work overtime and standby.
• Must have manufacturing experience.
• Planning of maintenance tasks and breakdowns.
• Must be able to work under pressure.
• Computer literacy.
• A knowledge of Sage will be advantageous.
