About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team in Alrode, Eastern Suburbs, on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring uninterrupted plant operations by installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform electrical maintenance and repairs on plant equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults
- Install and maintain electrical wiring, panels, and control systems
- Conduct preventative maintenance inspections
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards
- Assist with machinery installations and upgrades
- Maintain good housekeeping and safety standards
Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric Qualified Electrician Trade Test Certificate
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, motors, drives, and control panels
- Good fault-finding skills
