Cape Town: Hollowcore Site Installer / Foreman posted by JenRecruitment

Our client is in need of a full time hollowcore site installer / foreman for the precast hollowcore slabs. They are based outside Durbanville. The site installer and team will be responsible to install precast elements cut to size on to structural walls on site with a crane.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and lead the members of the team in performing the activities necessary
• Problem solving on a daily basis on site
• Perform administrative tasks
• Ensure safety and housekeeping standards are adhered to
• Coach & assist team members in the correct execution of their work activities
• Manage time control and commitment
• Plan and organize labour and machines
• Be able to read a plan lay out
• Well organized

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• High level of numeracy and literacy
• 5 Years proven experience
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Be able to read drawings
• Good communication skills
• Knowledge of the building/construction industry
• Work references
• Excellent work ethic and sober habits
• Must be an RSA citizen with no criminal record.

Salary and hours

• In return you will get a market related salary
• Plus vehicle and overtime allowance
• Become member of a provident fund
• Annual shut down in December during builders holiday.
• Working hours are from 7:00 to 17:30, but only until 15:00 on a Friday.
