PBT Group is looking for a Lead Java Developer to design and build innovative, sustainable, and bespoke software solutions. If youre passionate about cutting-edge tech, driving value, and shaping the future of applications, this role is for you!

What youll do:

• Lead solution design and development across front-end and back-end systems.

• Engage with business and tech stakeholders to align on strategic roadmaps.

• Drive coding, testing, and handover of robust, secure applications.

• Collaborate across teams to spot new opportunities and deliver improvements.

• Champion Agile/DevOps practices and mentor the team in best practices.

What you bring:

• 5+ years Java development experience.

• Strong SQL and full-stack skills (Java, Spring Boot, Angular, NodeJS, Docker, Microservices).

• Experience with tools like Kafka, Maven, TeamCity, Hibernate, JBoss, Tomcat.

• Familiarity with banking/financial services domain (advantageous).

• Problem-solving mindset, detail-oriented, and results-driven.

• Relevant Tech/Engineering/Science degree.
