About the Role
A trusted and well-established client of ours in The Middle East is seeking an experienced Medical Director to join their team. As a seasoned medical leader, you will be responsible for setting the quality agenda of medical care and services and managing the relationships among various physician activities of the Hospital.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote passion for hospital care across sites
- Provide a vision for the provision of expert medicine
- Align with the Hospital’s vision and goals for the development of systems and standards of care
- Communicate effectively through actions, decision making, and mentorship to develop medical staff
- Recognize staff exemplifying values and promote organization’s mission and vision
- Achieve finest medical outcomes
- Meet or exceed national and/or World Health Organization recognized clinical benchmarks
- Participate in Leadership Committee meetings
Requirements
- Progressive 5 years’ experience in healthcare, specifically medical services management
- Minimum experience in quality and utilization management preferred
- Previous experience with TQM principles preferred
- Current CPR Certification a plus
Qualifications
- Medical degree from an accredited university or medical school (preferred but not required)
- Board certification in primary specialty is also required
- Current medical license
