About the Role
A leading retail company in Cape Town is seeking an experienced Newborn Graphic Designer to join their team of professionals. We are looking for a creative and fashion-forward individual with expertise in Newborn and/or Kidswear design to help drive our brand’s next season.
Key Responsibilities
- Using your considerable experience in Newborn and/or Kidswear design, absorb and work with global trends to identify colours, fabric, styles and trims for each of the company’s brands.
- Communicate, energise and inspire our team of buyers, planners and merchandise leadership using this exciting fashion information to develop an extensive range of garments and styles with limited quantities of each item.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Newborn and/or Kidswear design experience in a similar fashion retail or creative manufacturing environment.
- Design skills with experience in InDesign and Photoshop, as well as CAD skills with strong strength in product.
Qualifications
No formal education or certifications are required for this role.
