Job Summary
Hire Resolves client in the Investment Industry is urgently seeking a highly skilled Operations Specialist to join their team in Cape Town.
Responsibilities
- Position within the operations team, principally as an operations specialist.
- The Purpose of this role is to contribute to and promote robust operating procedures across the investment management business to create and efficient, responsive and process driven operations team
- Assist with investment reporting and analysis
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimize operational processes
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory changes
- Provide support to the investment team in various ad-hoc tasks as required
- Appropriate finance qualification: Chartered Accountant. Specialist qualification in financial services would be advantageous.
- Self driven with at least 2-5 years working in operations in the financial services industry( Preferably in fund management)
- Experience with reconciliations and cash management essential
- Strong communicator and team player
- Relevant computer skills and systems experience , including advanced excel skills. Experience in a programming language would be advantageous but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large sets of data
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
