Job Summary
Hire Resolve`s client, a luxury hotel based in Cape Town, is seeking a dedicated Pool Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing pool operations and ensuring a safe, enjoyable environment for guests. In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the pool area, manage staff, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily pool operations, including maintenance, sanitation, and safety standards.
- Supervise and schedule lifeguard and pool staff, ensuring adequate coverage.
- Manage pool maintenance, including water testing, chemical balancing, and equipment repairs.
- Ensure compliance with all local health and safety regulations.
- Monitor guest activities to ensure safety and enjoyment, addressing any concerns promptly.
- Conduct regular training for staff on safety protocols and customer service.
- Develop and implement programs and activities to enhance guest experience at the pool area.
- Maintain records of pool operations, including maintenance logs and incident reports.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in pool management or lifeguarding.
- Strong knowledge of pool maintenance and safety procedures.
- Certification in CPR, First Aid, and lifeguarding.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to manage guest inquiries and issues effectively.
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting purposes.
