Were seeking a talented Digital Marketing Coordinator to join our team in the vibrant city of Cape Town , serving a national team while enhancing our online presence in the captivating world of wine. Responsibilities include: Develop relationships as an important point of contact for content for colleagues, clients, agencies and suppliers. Manage the content and permissions for the Digital Asset Management (DAM) platform ensuring that access is correctly controlled and all marketing assets including Meridian Group corporate identity, portfolio and brand assets are correctly updated, maintained and filed. Contribute to the conceptualisation, development and creation of content for web, newsletters, social media and other digital platforms. Following the briefing process to ensure relevant, quality content is consistently and timeously created and delivered. Coordination of all website requirements including concept and creation of new sites as well as updating, maintaining and optimising all online websites for the company and clients, ensuring accuracy of content and attention to detail. Contribute to the development, scheduling and management of all content on social media platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X. Manage sharing of relevant content from clients and industry bodies and ensure timeous and responsive community management. Track and analyse the performance of content on web, social and online platforms on a monthly basis. Keep in touch with industry trends and technologies to identify ways of optimising opportunities for improved performance and delivery. Compose and contribute web and content reports based on analytics with insights and actions to improve, boost and grow the efficiency of web and online platforms. Ensure continuous development and up-to-date industry knowledge and competence. Driving a learning and continuous improvement culture within the Marketing division. Continuous assessment of marketing-related risks and implementation of remedial actions, as and where required. Ensure best practice approaches and good corporate governance within the marketing division, ongoing. Demonstrate ability to effectively anticipate and manage organisational change within the Marketing division and MWM. Ensure that all internal operating policies and procedures are adhered to. Follow through to ensure that personal quality and productivity standards are consistently and accurately maintained. Plan and prioritise, demonstrating abilities to manage competing demands. Demonstrate ability to anticipate and manage change effectively. Demonstrate flexibility in balancing achievement of own objectives with the ability to understand and respond to organisational needs. Qualifications and Requirements: Tertiary education: Degree or Diploma in Marketing Management, Digital Marketing, Communications or Business studies. Cape Wine Academy level 2 Certificate Wine Course, WSET 2 or other equivalent (Beneficial). 3 years experience working in a digital administration/marketing role or with an agency or winery.
