Job Description
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Minimum of 5 years’ relevant sales experience
- Valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport
- Experience working with Sage
- Strong technical background or the ability to understand and sell technical products
- Experience in external sales and new business development, including cold calling and prospecting
Duties and Responsibilities
- Drive consistent achievement of sales targets with a clear focus on revenue growth
- Actively pursue new business development including identifying potential customers uncovering opportunities and converting leads into sales
- Implement strategies to expand product reach within existing and new customer segments
- Maintain a healthy and active sales pipeline demonstrating a strong hunter approach to sales
- Present promote and demonstrate technical product features to customers leveraging strong product understanding
- Report on sales performance pipeline conversions and target tracking metrics
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding of new customers and fulfilment of technical requirements
- Assimilate product and application knowledge accurately and effectively
- Manage and maintain an active customer visit planner according to company requirements
- Analyse current customers and the market and prepare goals objectives and plans to achieve sales
- Assess client needs and suggest appropriate product applications to meet those needs
- Promote the company’s products to ensure growth
- Service and develop relationships with key customers
- Expand relationships with existing customers by enquiring about additional security sealing needs and requirements
- Stay informed on market movements and factors affecting growth and request continuous product information while ensuring it is shared
- Prepare regular reports on progress and forecasts for management
- Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to customers in line with delivery agreements
